Review : Would be great if they didn't skimp on the hanging bar...
We Recently purchased this rack to clear up floor space in the garage. We ordered it anticipating that putting six bikes on it would prob ably not be very realistic. The installation was very straight forward - find two studs 48 inches apart to mount the hanging brackets to, drill four holes, put the screws in, and you're all set. Took about 20 minutes to install and the included hooks snap easily in to place on the bar. Initially, we had two mountain bikes and two road bikes hanging from the bar. Aside from being somewhat cramped on the rack (we use the bikes frequently) the bar started to bow/bend pretty severely - kind of shocking for a product at this price point actually. Not so shocking considering that the bar is a hollow piece of steal. I can't imagine this thing holding the load of six bikes over the long haul. We found that three bikes was going to be the max we were comfortable with hanging from this. If installation hadn't been so easy, I probably would have given 2 stars.
